How do you judge the best place for work experience? Do you use friends' recommendations, stuff you've read on the internet, or just luck of the draw - whoever will take you on at the time? Or do you check out the winners of the National Council for Work Experience's awards, announced on 23 March? While the list of providers is by no means comprehensive (YouthNet, the charity which owns lifetracks.com, isn't in there for example, and we run great work experience placements for journalists!) all information is useful when it comes to deciding where is most deserving of your skills and time.
