Planning My Career
On every website I go on to find information about my possible future careers, I see the first step is "5 GCSE grades A-D."
That doesn't sound like something great, does it? You think most people have over 10 GCSE's, they obviously must reach that criteria. But what if they don't?
I only did the core subjects for my GCSE's, giving me the grand total of 4. Does that mean I can not have a real future? Are most of my options of stripped away now because of this, or will I have to waste a year of my life catching up on 1 GCSE before being able to carry on in a further education course I want to do?
Should allowances not be given for people who have passion for a subject, who are completely capable of reaching a level expected? Is it right for me to have to pay for my right to a future, to take a course in a subject I believe in? We all have different circumstances and are in different situations so why should my past problems prevent me from having a future?
Sort it out careers advice. You suck (Bar Lifetracks obviously :p).
