Criminal records at job interviews
Brett Ashton, 24, is looking forward to starting a new job as a supervisor at the end of the month. Having been to prison himself, Brett now wants to concentrate on keeping out of trouble and, along with Jason Brownsea and Chris Banks, they came up with the idea for a video to highlight the problem of going for interviews with a criminal record.
After the workshop Brett said, "it was really interesting and fun at the same time and it's given me a bit more of an insight into how to get a job, both with a criminal record and without".
The job interview: Brett v Bart
Brett and Bart both go for a job interview. Who has the criminal record and who will get the job? What are your perceptions of people with a criminal record?
