Enterprise skills for disabled students

Nkeesha Goodridge

Nkeesha Goodridge, 26, is currently on the transition course at Lambeth college and is looking for work. To improve her chances of finding a job she has started volunteering as a secretary at Handicap International one day a week. She would eventually like to get paid work in an office environment.

Her short film showcases the second-hand book stall that her and her fellow students run in the foyer of the college. The book stall gives the group employability and teamworking skills, and a chance to raise money for charity.

The Lambeth College Book Stop

A group of students explain how they are gaining valuable employability skills by selling second-hand books in their college foyer.
